They're Back!!

Remember these girls? I found the book in my bookshelves while i was sorting them out the other day!
If like me you used to watch the series on the tv, then you will have probably been to see the film.. or are you a bit apprehensive just in case you are dissapointed?
When i thought about it, and spoke to my friends (some of whom have never watched an episode, shame on them) i tried to describe it by asking how they would feel about 'Friends' being made into a film.. you just can't imagine what they will do for a filmlike plotline..

So off i trotted with Michelle, and my niece Kirstin.
And the answer is 'no' you will not be dissapointed. It is Fab.
I've read a couple of reviews in various papers, (mostly written by men i might add) about it being 'two and a half hours of designer dresses, branding in every scene' blah blah blah, Well YEH!!?? That just goes to show, men just don't get it do they?
And it is sooo much more than that.
Go see it if you havent already.

Just Playing..

....with the size of photos on the blog....

This little horsey was at the steam fair...

Blue goodies!!

I've been searching so long for just the right table for my garden, dreaming of sitting out, eating my breakfast. At last i found it in a little shop just in the town, it came with two pretty little chairs, one of which i've put in the room off the kitchen, i recently painted the room cream.

So here is the table and second chair in place in the garden, not sure if it will stay here as there are other nice chairs and a bench in the garden. I may have a fiddle around with them.

Aileen came round and approved..

Apat from buying blue goodies i've been making little CAKES,this is quite a milestone for me as i'm no domestic goddess, although things could be looking up for Kevin as they were pretty yummie if i do say so myself, the presentation needs a bit of practise though, not really geting to grips with the icing, but i will probably get fat practising!!

The Season Starts...

Last Bank Hol (was it really 2 weeks ago?) we went to Strumpshaw Steam Fair. What a fab weekend we had, this fair always marks the first in the season for us so we love it all the more. Even though it rained as usual, we still had a great time with our friends.

The sun did shine on Sat but by Sun the rain had found us, and it didn't stop. That didn't stop us looking at all the lovely Steam Engines..

And we were very cosy in the Reo with the woodburner going..

We took the Fotherby Bulace Brandy with us to keep us lubricated...
All in all despite the weather fun was had, i took a wander through the stalls and bought some more plants for my pots in the garden, and also gave the Scouts some pennies for some books, which i will no doubt take with me next time we go away..
