It has occurred to me that i really haven't shown off my Crafty goodies, i do like to make people gifts for Birthdays/Christmas and this year i have made a few things. I'm not going to show you those as you never know who is peeking!, but here are a few pics of some things I've made in the past:

I have to confess that when Hubbie goes out on a Tues night i am guilty of finding what he would call 'American Trash' TV to watch. I light the fire, get my blanket and settle in for a cosy night of indulgence without any moaning about 'what on earth are you watching'
This seasons Gossip Girl is particularly appealing, since we've got back from NYC i find myself looking behind the characters to see where they are, and if I've been there.

It's dark and rainy this morning, but what better excuse do i need to cosy up by the fire with Blanket & Book?
I got some cheap fairy lights from Tesco last week, for only a pound! I think they will be a pernanent fixture on the mantle piece, i love them.

When you thought you could dig to Australia, with a spade that was almost as big as you!
This is a pic i've got up in the kitchen of Kevin when he was a wee lad.

I haven't told you about my new toy, in the shape of a sewing machine that my mum gave me. It used to belong to my Gran and i've been having fun playing with it.
This is the first thing i've made with a sewing machine scince high school, and although it just looks like a few triangles on a piece of binding, to me it's much more than that!

I've been waiting and waiting.... patiently scince August.
It is so popular that Amazon sold out straight away, but at last i have it. Even though i had to wait an extra day as i missed the postie and it wouldn't fit through my letter box:(
That extra day was long..
I'm halfway through it, and i'm sure there
will be many cold winter days sat at the computer looking at all the featured blogs, i can hardly wait.

I'm wondering if we will get any snow this winter? Proper snow. Not the stuff that turns to mush in the blink of an eye, but real sledging snowman building snow which, when piled up at the end of the drive way, the mountains are bigger than a small person.
This type of snow we had when i was little and living in the north of England.
Sometimes i wonder, were the snow piles really that big? Or was i just really small? The pic above is my littlest niece in the snow one scottish winter. Thats exactly what snow should look like isnt it?
