Retro Yummies

So you all know I’m ‘That Girl who works in the ice cream shop’

I’ve been seeing vintage ice cream vans on the interweb lately.

I may or may not have been caught by Mr D looking at old Bedford vans on ebay.

Hey we can all dream can’t we?

How cool would it be exactly to dress up, get behind the wheel and go to the local village fate?

Ps. I painted the bathroom. Classic cream, nothing exciting, but fresh with new pictures on the walls. I should take photos.

The office is next in line.

  7. Snap! I have been talking to my husband about buying a Mr Whippy van (that's what we call them here) only recently...I think it would be a fab idea for kids (big and little) birthday parties...

If you ever purchase one and let this dream come true, make sure you come around where I live, 'kay? :)

  13. oh i love the vintage ice cream vans! as to the bathroom, cream is a good call. i have just re done my bedroom and have mostly cream/white walls+curtains+chest of drawers which means i can really go to town on pictures, ornaments etc without taking away from the clean look. x

  15. so fun, i would love to have an ice cream truck.

whe we were little my mom told us that it was a music truck, we would hear it and run outside to DANCE. it was years before a neighborhood kid ruined it for her and bought ice cream. i remember running into the house and saying , "Mom the music truck sells ICE CREAM!!!"

after that when we would hear it we would run out to dance and THEN go get a popsicle from the freezer, it worked for us...lol

  16. oh i went to reply to your comment on my blog, i always like to reply via email and your email address is not enabled.

    did you know that?

this means that you spend so much time leaving lovely comments on people's blogs and they have no way of responding to a question or thanking you for stopping by or just continuing the conversation...because instead of your email address all they see is "no-reply comment".

    sad right?

you can fix that if you like.

just go to your dashboard, click edit profile and click show email address and then click save profile.

    easy!!!

and i PROMISE if you change this blogging will get even better and become even more fun!
