Pumpkin….Anyone??

autumn028_thumb

It’s that time of year. Lets talk about Pumpkins.

I just made some Pumpkin Ice cream for work, There is Pumpkin soup on the menu too….and I I feel pretty bad for admitting it….but as we are all amongst friends I know you won’t hold it against me.

I don’t like it

There I said it.

I love looking at Pumpkins, carved or un carved.

This year I’ve bought some more Halloween decorations, to get in the spirit of things.

Reading Blogs I love seeing you all going skipping off to the Pumpkin Patch for the annual choosing of the perfect one for you. (We don’t do that over here, we go and buy them from the supermarket. Booo.) I love the thought of Pumpkin flavoured and all things Halloweeny.

But, the reality is…..I just don’t like the flavour.

Does anyone like the flavour?

Do you carve your Pumpkins?

Do you decorate and/or send Halloween related mail?

Answers on a postcard…….or the comments section

What are you up to this weekend? (carving pumpkins?) I have lots of work to do but I also have a ton of mail to catch up on, and a swap parcel to create (yey!)

  6. I love the taste of pumpkin. The pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks is my favourite (I may have mentioned it on my blog today)! I'm also a fan of pumpkin & cinnamon French toast.

  9. I feel the exact same way as Sarah! if ever offered pumpkin pie, I ask for the smallest sliver, and prefer the crust to the filling :) and... I've never carved a pumpkin! Not even sure I realized that until just now...
Cheers to you and this weekend! May your heart be filled with a wonderful warmth!

  15. I'm not a big pumpkin flavor fan either! Especially the coffee. YUCK! I can eat pumpkin cupcakes and such, as long as they have icing!!

  16. I'm so glad you love Betelgeuse too haha :) And yes, I have a naturally 'mad' face I guess so if I don't go out of my way to look pleasant I just look angry. It's so frustrating!

  17. I actually love pumpkin soups, but I'm always too lazy to make it by myself... Apart from that I haven't tried many pumpkin things, it's just not that popular here in Germany. Starbucks doesn't even offer Pumpkin Spice Latte here. But actually, I do want to carve a pumpkin this fall, I want to try some things I've seen on pinterest.

That carved pumpkin with Tinkerbell looks adorable, but I bet I'm not able to manage that one.

Here's to a happy Sunday. Xo.

  18. Actually, I have no idea what pumpkins taste like. I live in Germany and pumpkins aren't that popular over here.
I'd really love to try a pumpkin spice latte, but you can't get them at Starbucks over here. So sad.

  24. I'm allergic to pumpkin :/

But before I found that out and did eat them, I used to like pumpkin soup (my Mum's recipe only ... which was filled with potato and cheese too, haha). Apart from that, not a fan.
