Am I Still a Blogger?

I wonder if I still get to say 'I'm a Blogger' if I really haven't been here much in the last couple of months.
It's not like I haven't got anything to blog about, there has been many adventures, gigs, days out and  road trips. Are they real if they aren't documented?
I don't really know why, except that I've been busy, with work, and life, and time has just gone.
Put that next to the fact my computer doesn't seem to want me to blog, it fights me all the time and I'm saving up to replace it (maybe I shouldn't have typed that as now it's sure to rebel big time). My camera is also feeling the strain.
All my gadgets are getting old along with me.
Having this little blog for more years than I can remember this isn't the first time there's been a break in proceedings, and I normally get back on track which hopefully will happen again soon.
Things are looking up, spring is just around the corner which means the adventures in the home on wheels are about to start (better get it out of it's winter home and make it presentable) holidays have been booked for the later part of the year.
Hopefully as well as coming back here very soon I will get to visit my virtual friends too.
'See' you all soon!!

  1. I think we have to have breaks every now and then. Life is about living and somethings the writing about it can come later.

  2. It's okay. And yes--you are still a blogger even if your online home starts to develop some cobwebs. It's normal, and it happens to us all. And I agree with Sheryl. It's important to stay in the moment and return to this corner when you feel it's right--your friends will all still be there to greet you :) XOXO

  3. I totally agree with the other comments, once a blogger, always a blogger, we all have our little breaks ( and in my case, not so little), but you'll always be welcomed back. Go with it and if it makes you happy, then just do it. Looking forward to reading all about it, when you feel you want to :)

  4. Yes. All work can be exhausting no matter what it is. We all need to take breaks.

  5. I think it's better to stay away when you're not feeling the blog then to post some crap that doesn't feel authentic. Sometimes we have to give ourselves a break so we can come back and get our groove on! Good post. Glad you returned. :)

My son went up to Aviemore a few weekends ago and stayed in a fire truck, despite the wood burinng fire it was so cold! I tole him you never get your home on wheels until the bluebells are almost in flower. Sarah x

  8. it is totally normal to take breaks esp when there are things happening in your life. i am not into drafting and scheduling my posts in advance and do end up missing my regular post schedule due to school, work, and family. and at the end of the day, blogging is a hobby/passion/ and quality rather than pushing content. i hope you are able to get back soon :)

  9. I know what you mean. Things are so busy sometimes that there just isn't enough time to put together a post. I do feel guilty about it but if we don't live our lives, there is nothing to post about :) xx

  12. I'm finding that if I take a break, it's SO HARD to get motivated to get back into it. But here I am... giving it a whirl. ;)
